Reflexology shouldn’t be painful. If you feel excessive discomfort, be sure to tell your relaxologist. He or she will work within your comfort zone.

Some areas may be tender or sore, the relaxologist may spend extra time on these points for extra therapeutic benefits.

If you’re ticklish, don’t worry. The reflexologist applies firm pressure to the feet.

How often can I come in?

How often you visit depends on your health and wellness goals. Those with chronic conditions can benefit from bi-weekly or weekly sessions. Usually, the time between visits will increase, as your body begins to regain a state of natural balance and vitality. Monthly visits can help keep stress in check and build immunity. The length of each session depends on your age and condition.  As a rule of thumb, sessions are shorter for elderly clients, very young clients or frailer clients.
